Music Workshops are what we do. We facilitate creative music making and build up musical skills. Improvising, composing, writing, playing and performing as well as how to produce and promote yourself. We deliver a number of different kind of workshops that can suit many different situations.
Bespoke Projects
This is the big one. The unique, one of a kind, all consuming one off course. We bring a community together, form a variety of ensembles and facilitate the creating, composing, recording, promoting and performing of new, original music. This is usually done over a couple of weeks. It is intense, inspiring and the most exciting form of Wall2Wall Music projects.

Do you have a community or group you want to bring together as a musical ensemble to create their own music? Get in touch and we will design a one of a kind project for you.
The Explorative Session
An hour of music making, perfect for festivals, parties or events. We bring in a selection of instruments and lead jam sessions where musicians of any ability can create music together. No notes, no rules, no rehearsals. Just a lot of fun and a lot of music! This is a very relaxed and open style which is enjoyable, cathartic and suitable for complete beginners or the very advanced. A unique way to make music together, it is something we use in the beginning of our big projects and courses to generate ideas but stands alone as a fantastic experience. We often coin this ‘the most fun you can have with music!’

The School Sessions/Courses
Wall2Wall Music facilitators are trained across Derry, Donegal, Mayo and Belfast. For schools or clubs in those areas we bring the Wall2Wall Music method of music creating and skill building to students on a regular basis. We also facilitate skill building and instrument learning using carousel and peer learning and have worked closely with Musical Futures NI to build their Northern Irish program and share resources. On these courses we can work with musicians closely long term which is a great way to build up your skills and write and perform a lot of music as well as create a community of music makers. Training
Are you interested in what we do and want to bring it into your own musical education? Contact us and we can bring training to your area.
We have trained facilitators in Derry, Belfast, Donegal and Mayo. Mayo is currently running a self sufficient scheme called Jam Bands Mayo which holds regular jam sessions and skill building sessions across the county.
We also like to train the musicians we work with on each project as part of our skill building. So most musicians who have participated in a Wall2Wall Music course can lead a group improvisation and improvise and write confidently in group settings.
